A dream with deep roots
Everything began in 1968, when Uncle Vito brought the sunny elegance and warm hospitality of his Sicily to the heart of Bardolino. Since then, Hotel Taormina has become a home away from home for generations of travellers.
A life dedicated to hospitality
Giovanni’s journey began at just 15 years old, learning the trade and drying cutlery in the hotel kitchen. His curiosity then led him around the world: Germany, Kenya, Jamaica and Spain enriched his vision of hospitality.
A return to the roots
In 2010, the call of Lake Garda became impossible to resist. Giovanni returned home together with Laura and their children Luca and Sofia, blending international experience with the warmth of authentic family hospitality.
Today: the great transformation
After 15 years of passionate management and almost 60 years since its foundation, Hotel Taormina is evolving into a modern and sustainable three-star hotel. A profound transformation that preserves the same smile and attention to detail as always.
